Graduated from art school in Germany in 1994, this up and coming New Zealand artist is a fairly recent introduction to our national art scene. Having come from the outside some 10 years ago gives him the advantage of a fresh and different way to look at things inside, yet plenty of local experience.

With his sharp vision he keeps a close eye on our culture and landscape, creating “iconic work, something especially New Zealand” (TJ McNamara, NZ Herald). Daniel takes pride in printing all his work himself, and was awarded highly commended in the 2010 NZ Pride in Print Awards for this work.
